Why Fundraise for Medical Equipment?
Can you imagine trying to manage at home or in the workplace without the proper tools? Like healthcare workers - firefighters, police officers, trades people – even homemakers – depend on modern technology to prevent disasters, save lives and help make life more livable.
The main reason the Foundation exists is to help ensure that local healthcare workers have the best tools to assess, diagnose and treat people who may have acute or chronic illnesses. So when you respond to equipment appeals, your gift goes a long way to help those who give, need and deserve the best possible care.
To date – and in partnership with the community – the Foundation has made possible the purchase of a digital mammography system for cancer detection, pain control pumps and specialty surfaces to improve patient comfort, new electric beds and more. But please review the list of urgently needed equipment and please think deeply about what it means to our hospital and our future. |
