TIM HORTONS SMILE COOKIES CAMPAIGN A SWEET SUCCESS!!

Each year Tim Hortons Corporately and Cornwall and area local owners, the Hill and Moyer families, donate the sales of their Smile Cookies to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation. Tim Hortons representatives were on hand recently to present a cheque for $11,760 to the Foundation Executive Director Connie Vardy. Connie says "This is an amazing number- 11760 cookies sold in just one week. I know our community is generous so I asked Tim Hortons, "just how generous are they" In the same week about 51,000 cookies were sold in the Ottawa area's 66 stores. It is clear on a per person basis; the Cornwall community loves Smiles Cookies as much as they love their hospital. I know hospital employees do because they bought 397 cookies at the cafeteria and tuck shops alone."

Thank you Tim Hortons and thanks to all the staff and cookie lovers who supported the campaign by buying, selling and sharing Smiles Cookies.
