Local Artist Gives to Local Healthcare on Apples and Art Tour
Rose Desnoyers is a gifted local artist with a giving heart. Rose�s art was recently on display during the 18th Annual Apples and Art Tour. This year the Apples and Art Tour featured the talent of 37 artists and craftspeople throughout SD&G including assemblage artist, Peter Leclair. Rose says to set the mood at her Glen Walter tour location, Purcell House, she baked 20 pies. As well, other pastries were donated by her friends. The sale of these baked goods was directed toward the 2009 Corus Caring Hearts Radiothon in support of the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation. We thank Rose and her friends for their dedication and for raising awareness of our local healthcare needs.
